Harvest Properties is a company that sells homes. They are based in 23 Steyn Street, Highway Gardens, Edenvale.

Last year, around June,2008, I was asked by the owner, Mrs Phoebe Dehoff to please come and sort out her computer network.

On arrival, I found that her workstations were all infected by viruses, and that a 'Server' she had recently had replaced in an insurance claim was not a server, but a cheap AMD workstation.

I spend days, including weekends sorting out the workstations, and also went as far as convincing her insurance company to replace her Server with an Intel based system as it should have been in the first place.

All went well, and on completion of the job, Phoebe Dehoff was satisfied with the job.

However, when it came to payment, she had 101 excuses as to why she would not pay.

Bottom line, nearly one year later I am still out of pocket. Not only did I spend a lot of time repairing her computers, but I had to purchase other hardware to get everything up and running.

On investigation I discovered that this company is not liquid, and they are not paying due to financial problems.

Why do companies that cannot afford to pay for a service take advantage of others if they know they do not have the funds to pay for the services rendered in the first place??

To anyone else out there that may fall victim to this woman or her company, I urge you to maybe at least get a deposit up front before wasting your time....
